This is the largest watercolor of the Saint Helices series to date. I was attempting to achieve a higher contrast of tones and more saturation of color. I also included a faint linear grid pattern in the lower central form as a visual counter-balance to the angle of the overall composition. I toned down the star pattern so that it would appear more subtile and atmospheric, while still maintaing it's graphic, pattern quality.
