I returned to the watercolor medium in this version. I changed the direction of the passage of light on the two central areas from a lateral scheme to a more vertical scheme as oriented to the picture plane. This alteration in the direction of the light creates a more dynamic illusionistic shift between the two central areas of the composition. A low contrast treatment of the star pattern also makes a reappearance in this version.
