This version prortrays the most literal treatment of the edge of the earth's atmosphere (lower right) of any of the Saint Helies compositions. The perspective of the edge forms is nearly the same as in Saint Helices 9. Also in this version the central form is rendered from a more distant vantage, and all ellipses have been omitted.

This would be one of the last complete Saint Helices compositions from my Florida studio. I would return to the Saint Helices theme again about a year later in my new home in Montreal, Canada.
