In this composition the dynamism of tonalities are primarily represented, however the composition is painted over a mounted Chinese language newspaper which brings certain color elements to the composition. I have fashioned a strictly modeled cylinder form--evenly modulating tones of black and white--which is interacting with a field of black and white tones which are modulating in an irrational expressionistic manner. This non-objective composition portrays a balanced coexistence of the dynamism of both abstract expressionism and chiaroscuro painting methods.
