The upper area of the composition now extends to nearly the width of the picture plane. The ellipses have the appearance of gold-colored nebula. For the first time in this series the color of the light from one area--in this case the gold nebula--is reflected on the top portion of the edge forms. The blue-violet color from the lower area is reflected on the lower portion of the edge forms.
