Throughout my career, I have gained inspiration for my artwork from geographic, atmospheric, and celestial subjects and phenomena. For several years I have been experimenting with compositions that portray a body of water, land, earth’s atmosphere and aspects of the universe in a single view. In the most recent series I have added a cloud formation that figures prominently in the composition and gives new pictorial and abstractive direction to the earlier landscape research.
